It follows the same spectacular route as the Marathon, combining Geneva’s beautiful lake-side scenery with an Alpine backdrop and the city’s main sites.
The relay marathon by Core Lean is open to all participants who are 14 years old the year of the race (born before 1.01.2010). As a family, in a group of friends, or with work-mates, four to six runners will tackle individual distances ranging from 4.5km to 12km according to the pre-defined sections:
The organization reserves the right to modify the distances indicated.
Enter NowDuring registration it is not necessary to indicate the order in which runners will complete the relay. You are free to organize yourself as you want. But to ease the logistics, a person who runs two relays will have to run two consecutive relays (for teams of four or five runners).
A bib-belt will be given with the bib considered as the relay baton. The organisation will retrieve this bib-belt on the finish line.
Section 1 : 5,5km
From the start of the Marathon, (Ch Frank Thomas - Cologny) to Choulex : 5,5km.
Meeting at 8:30 am to take the start at the same time as the marathon at 9 am.
Once arrived in Choulex, a shuttle of the organization will bring you back to Geneva.
Section 2 : 12km
From Choulex to Puplinge : 12km.
Meeting point at 8am at the Eaux-Vives train station for the departure of the shuttle bus that will drop you off in Choulex.
Once arrived in Puplinge, a shuttle of the organization will bring you back to Geneva.
Section 3 : 4,5km
From Puplinge to Chêne-Bourg : 4,5km.
Meet at 8:30 a.m. at the Eaux-Vives train station for the departure of the shuttle bus that will drop you off in Puplinge.
Once in Chêne-Bourg, you can take the train or the tram back to Geneva.
Section 4 : 9,6km
From Chêne-Bourg to Collonge-Bellerive : 9,7km.
Meet in Chêne-Bourg, place de la Gare 30 minutes before the arrival of your runner. To get to Chêne-Bourg, take the train or the tram from the center of Geneva.
Once you arrive in Collonge-Bellerive, take the TPG bus line “E” or “G” which will drop you off in Geneva (Rive stop).
Section 5 : 6,1km
From Collonge-Bellerive to Geneva : 6,1km.
Meet in Collonge-Bellerive (Girod Piscine - Route de Thonon 112), 30 minutes before the arrival of your runner. To get to Collonge-Bellerive, take the TPG bus line “E” or “G” from Geneva (Rive stop).
Section 6 : 4,5km
From Geneva (Quai Gustave Ador n°12) to the finish line on the Pont du Mont-Blanc Geneva : 4,5km.
Meet on the Quai Gustave Ador 30 minutes before the arrival of your runner.
